Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are getting married!
On February 10, Hyun Bin posted the following statement through his agency’s Instagram account:
Hello, this is Hyun Bin. I hope everyone is doing well. I’m writing because I want my fans, who have shown me so much love and support despite my flaws, to be the first to hear about this most important decision of my life.
I’m sure many of you guessed it, right? That is correct. I’ve decided to get married, and I am taking careful moves toward the next part of my life. I promised the woman who always makes me laugh that we would always walk together in the days ahead. In the future, the ‘Jung Hyuk and Se Ri’ from the drama will take the first step together. I trust that you will be delighted and willing to celebrate our first steps together with the same compassion and tenderness you have shown us thus far.
Please stay happy and healthy till we can meet in person again.

Around the same time, Son Ye Jin also released her statement on her Instagram account:
I spent a lot of time thinking about how to express myself before writing this. Because it’s such a precious and vital thing, I wanted to state it as sweetly and nicely as possible. I’ve found the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. That is correct. It’s the person everyone is thinking of. Being with him gives me a sense of warmth and comfort.
I had thought that a man and a woman meeting, exchanging their feelings, and promising each other the future was a little beyond the imagination, but we had naturally approached that point to get here. I’m grateful for everything that turned our relationship into fate. Please join me in congratulating the future that we will create together.
I will be eternally grateful to my fans for always cheering me on and showering me with unconditional love. I want to grow into a more mature and good actor and person, but it isn’t easy to do. Before starring together in Crash Landing on You, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin were longtime acquaintances. Following the drama’s conclusion, they began dating and announced their engagement in January 2020.
Following their personal statements, the actors’ agencies confirmed that Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin would marry in March in Seoul. They will have a quiet, private wedding with the bride and groom’s parents and acquaintances due to the pandemic.
