Lee Byung Hun has tested positive for COVID-19.
On February 9th, BH Entertainment released an official statement saying, “Lee Byung Hun has tested positive for COVID-19, and he is currently in self-quarantine.”
The agency added that Lee Byung Hun had been fully vaccinated and boosted before getting the virus. Following the actor’s positive test results, his �upcoming tvN drama Our Blues (written by No Hee Kyung, directed by Kim Kyu Tae) temporarily halted filming.
Meanwhile, Our Blues revolves around the lives of people who are at different stages of life. The show delivers the bittersweet lives of various characters in an omnibus format. Reports say that his spouse Lee Min Jung has been diagnosed with COVID-19 as well.
A source from the actress’ agency shared, “Lee Min Jung has tested positive for COVID-19. She was classified as a close contact and underwent testing while she was in self-quarantine. The test results came back positive, so she is continuing to stay in self-quarantine.”
