Disney+ released a new poster for its first UHD original series Grid. The show centers on the police investigation of a mysterious being who created a shield known as ‘the Grid’ to protect mankind from a solar wind crisis. The being, also known as a ‘Ghost,’ appears again 24 years later, only to help a serial killer escape.
The newly released posters reveal the characters who pursue Ghost and the truth behind her. Seo Kang Joon plays Kim Sae Ha, an employee of the management office who has been tracking down the Ghost for 24 years. The caption under Kim Sae Ha reads, “I must catch the Ghost who disappeared 24 years ago,” hinting that there was an incident between him and the Ghost back in 1997. Many are curious to see what triggered him to go after the mysterious being.
Meanwhile, Kim Ah Joong takes on the role of detective Jung Sae Byeok, who witnesses the Ghost while chasing after a serial killer. The Ghost helps the murderer escape and mysteriously disappears into the thin air right in front of her. So she believes that the Ghost is nothing more than an accomplice of a killer. As she tracks down the Ghost, she gets to join forces with Sae Ha.
The last poster captures the mystery of the Ghost with a caption that reads, “Savior of mankind or accomplice of a murderer.” The picture piques the viewer’s curiosity and makes them wonder why the previous savior of mankind is now helping an unidentified killer.
Grid will be available on Disney Plus from February 16th, and the season will release one episode a week.
