Song Ji Hyo started a 10-day quarantine immediately after coming into contact with a COVID-19 carrier during her recent shooting.

Her agency Creative Group ING issued an official statement regarding her COVID-19 testing and quarantine. “Song Ji Hyo tested negative for the virus. But as preemptive measures, she canceled her schedule and began a 10-day quarantine,” they wrote.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, who recently took part in the Running Man shooting, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on the 19th. As a result, all the cast and staff took PCR tests, including Song Ji Hyo.

The company then explained the reason for her quarantine. “In 2011, when Song Ji Hyo decided to receive a nutritional IV treatment, she experienced severe allergic reactions such as a rash all over her body and difficulty breathing,” they relayed. “Even after that, she continued to display severe allergic reactions to various antibiotics. As a result, Song Ji Hyo consulted her doctor about receiving COVID-19 vaccines. And presently, she remains unvaccinated.”

Therefore, the actress will sit out the upcoming Running Man filming scheduled for the 24th and 25th.

Meanwhile, Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, Ji Seok Jin, and Yang Se Chan have also tested negative for COVID-19 as of now.
