tvN’s upcoming weekend drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One has dropped a new set of stills featuring Kim Tae Ri. In the released pictures, Kim Tae Ri has transformed into an 18-year-old student Na Hee Do. Set to premiere on February 12th, the drama follows the romance and everyday lives of youthful students who have been deprived of their dreams due to the IMF crisis in 1998.
Kim Tae Ri plays Na Hee Do, a passionate fencing athlete whose high school team was disbanded due to the IMF crisis. She is a fiery and courageous character filled with youthful energy who never gives up on her dreams despite how impossible they may seem.
When asked why she decided to star in the show, Kim Tae Ri replied, “The script was really interesting, and Hee Do was a unique character that I’ve never played before. Also, the fact that the show sheds light on the lesser-known Olympic sports, fencing, made it even more attractive.”
Additionally, the actress shared her thoughts on her new character, Na Hee Do. “Na Hee Do is an aspiring fencer who is currently experiencing a slump. However, she loves fencing so much and she just cannot give up on her dreams. The thing I love the most about her is that she always moves forward no matter what. Her failure does not stop her. Tragedies do not bring her down. She is a strong girl who sticks to what she believes without the slightest fear.”
