Song Ji Hyo‘s agency announced that they will be taking legal actions against those writing malicious posts and comments about the actress.
On January 4th, Creative Group ING released a statement on its official social media account. They explained, “The malicious rumors and personal insults against Song Ji Hyo that are circulating online are becoming more and more nasty.”
The agency emphasized that posting insults and defamatory remarks can be subject to lawsuits. They said, “Due to our consistent monitoring and the reports made by her fans, it came to our attention that there has been a lot of malicious rumors circulating online about the actress. We tried to understand to a certain extent and consider them as the freedom of expression on the internet. However, we have come to our conclusion that the actions have gone too far for us to idly stand by and watch the actress be harmed.”
The agency also added that they will be receiving information about those leaving hate comments about their actress.
