Jiyeon and Ji Il Joo will be leading the new K-Zombie movie Gangnam (literal title),
Gangnam, directed by Lee Soo Sung, tells the story of people risking their lives to survive in Gangnam, which fell into chaos as people with unknown symptoms appeared. Following Train to Busan, Peninsula, and Netflix series Kingdom, which heated up the world with the K-Zombie craze, Gangnam will present a new kind of fun painted out in a central city.
Ji Il Joo takes on the role of Hyun Seok. When Hyun Seok finds himself trapped inside the company building due to swarming zombies, he fights for his life, trying to escape. He was once an aspiring taekwondo athlete, even striving to join the national team. The actor will pull off impressive action scenes as he struggles to survive.
Jiyeon plays Min Jung, who fights off zombies alongside Hyun Seok. Min Jung is a daring character who can never stand idly by when it comes to injustice.
Joining these two in the cast are veteran actor Jo Kyung Hoon, Choi Sung Min, Jung Yi Joo, Tak Teu In, and more.
Meanwhile, the filming already started on December 10th.
