The Pirates: Goblin Flag follows the journey of pirates in finding the lost treasure of a royal family, which disappeared without a trace. The released posters capture the attention with characters full of personality.
The teaser released by Lotte Entertainment on the 17th shows Moochi (played by Kang Ha Neul), who claims himself to be the best swordsman in Joseon, going out into the ocean to find the royal treasure with a determined look.
Soon, the clip introduces Haerang (Han Hyo Joo), the captain of a pirate ship that has subjugated the ocean, and traitor Boo Heung Soo (Kwon Sang Woo), who’s after the treasure. Then there is Makyi (Lee Kwang Soo), who dreams of becoming the pirate king, adding a playful vibe to the movie.
The pirates who set out on an adventure to find treasure and the ever-changing seascape with lightning, whirlpools, and earthquakes give a glimpse into the spectacular sights of The Pirates: Goblin Flag. Additionally, the huge whale and the overwhelmingly massive pirate ships will provide the audience with a thrilling experience.
Meanwhile, The Pirates: Goblin Flag is the second series of The Pirates that attracted 8.66 million moviegoers. The movie is slated to be released during the Lunar New Year holiday.
