‘The Red Sleeve’ Is Neck-And-Neck With ‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ In Ratings

MBC’s The Red Sleeve continued its impressive streak at the top of its time slot, gaining a nationwide average of 10.9 percent for its latest episode aired on the 10th.

In the last episode, Yi San (Lee Jun Ho) started to administer state affairs on behalf of King Yeongjo (Lee Deok Wha), going for a trip to visit royal tombs. Meanwhile, the head of the court lady Jo (Park Ji Young) plotted treason against the crown prince. Yi San was able to escape death with the help of Seong Deok Im, who flew a signaling kite to warn him.

Now, We Are Breaking Up recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 6.9 percent for the latest episode.  According to Nielsen Korea, the most-watched moment in this episode saw a rating of 9 percent. The episode revealed that Yoon Soo Wan (Shin Dong Wook) was trying to break up with Ha Young Eun (Song Hye Kyo) before his death 10 years ago. In addition, the narrative of Jeon Mi Sook (Park Hyo Joo), who was preparing to bid farewell to her family, brought tears to the eyes of viewers.
