The latest episode of SBS’ Running Man featured a special of “Ji Suk Jin’s Cells.” While looking back on their twenties, the cast members visited a coffee shop full of memories with Ji Suk Jin and Yoo Jae Suk. Suk Jin said, “There were a lot of celebrities who were scouted at cafes back then.” He then asked Ji Hyo, saying, “Wait, haven’t you worked at a café?”
Ji Hyo answered, “I got discovered when I worked as a part-timer at a café.” Kim Jong Kook added, “Right, not everyone got the chance to work at a coffee shop,” praising her looks back then. Suk Jin replied, “I did. I was a server at a coffee shop located nearby Ewha Woman’s University.” Yang Se Chan teased him by saying, “That must be like 40 years ago.”
When asked how much Ji Suk Jin got paid by the hour, Yoo Jae Suk answered on behalf of him, “three cents.” Kim Jong Kook added, “No, actually he must have gotten �paid with something other than money.” to make fun of Suk Jin. Ji Suk Jin threw in the towel and finally replied, “I got paid with sweet potatoes.”
