tvN’s Jirisan, JTBC’s Inspector Koo, and TvN’s Happiness all saw boosts in ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of Jirisan scored an average nationwide rating of 9.225 percent. In the finale, Seo Yi Kang (Jun Ji Hyun) and Kang Hyun Jo (Ju Ji Hoon) solved the mysteries that took place on the mountain. One year later, the well-recovered rangers gathered around to watch the sunrise on the mountain. The Kingdom writer’s new drama series initially grabbed huge attention for its star-studded cast, Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon. However, the hype went down as many viewers got tired of watching its excessive product placements (PPL) and poor CGIs.

JTBC’s Inspector Koo saw a slight rise in ratings, gaining an average nationwide viewership rating of 2.312 percent for its finale. The scenes that remind viewers of theater stages received positive reviews, but the drama suffered low ratings throughout its air.

The final episode of Happiness scored an average nationwide rating of 4.2 percent. In its last episode, Yoon Sae Bom (Han Hyo Joo) and Jung Yi Hyun (Park Hyung Sik) finally found their happiness after overcoming their crises. The thriller series received favorable reviews for depicting the urgent situation that is similar to what we are suffering in this global pandemic.
