Song Seung Heon and Jo Bo Ah are in talks to lead Hidden Face.

On Thursday, Sports Chosun reported that Song Seung Heon and Jo Bo Ah were cast in the Korean remake of the Colombian box office hit The Hidden Face. To which both actors’ agencies responded that they are positively reviewing the offers.

The Hidden Face tells a mysterious story that unfolds when a lover gets trapped inside a secret room hidden somewhere in the house. Directed by Andrés Baiz, the film was led by Quim Gutiérrez and Martina García. The movie ranked first in the Colombian box office thanks to its fresh material and provocative plot at the time of its release.

In the meantime, Obsessed director Kim Dae Woo helms the Korean remake. He’ll present a slightly different mystery thriller by spotlighting the hidden desires of humans.

If Song Seung Heon joins the movie, he’ll be reuniting with director Kim seven years after Obsessed. Recently, the actor has shown exceptional performance in projects like The Great Show and Voice 4. Jo Bo Ah has also been active in several projects recently. She showcased a new charm in Tale of the Nine-Tailed and is currently filming her new drama Military Prosecutor Doberman. Since this will be her first movie years after Innocent Thing, attention focuses on her big-screen comeback.
