Chorokbaem Media confirmed that filming for Youth, better known as BTS Drama, is over. Now, they’re discussing its premiere via global streaming platforms.
Yesterday, Chorokbaem Media announced that they’ve completed the filming of the upcoming series Youth. This marks the end of a two-year-long journey since they officially launched the project with HYBE. The company is currently focusing on post-production to improve quality. As of now, Chorokbaem Media is discussing its premiere via global streaming platforms.
Youth follows seven boys on their journey of growing up. The worldview that penetrates the drama is based on BTS’s “Hwayangyeonhwa” series, as the title “Youth” suggests. The series follows the stories and growth of seven boys, apart from the actual artists. Previously, Seo Ji Hoon, Noh Jong Hyun, Ahn Ji Ho, Seo Young Joo, Kim Yoon Woo, Jung Woo Jin, and Jeon Jin Seo were cast to lead the show.
Additionally, an official from Chorokbaem Media shared, “Youth is a tentpole-scale pre-production drama that Chorokbaem Media invested in and participated in. We will continue to expand our roster by focusing on securing pre-produced IP dramas to air on OTT platforms.”
Meanwhile, Youth is the second OTT content produced by Chorokbaem Media following One Ordinary Day, starring Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won. One Ordinary Day will have its premiere through Coupang Play (Korea), Viu (Southeast Asia, Middle East), and Amazon Prime (Japan).
