1st Look Magazine has released pictures featuring Lee Jin Wook and Kwon Na Ra, the lead cast in tvN’s upcoming drama, Bulgasal, scheduled to premiere on December 18th.
In an interview following the photoshoot, Lee Jin Wook shared how he decided to star in the drama. “Director Jang Young Woo and I had a casual gathering one day, and he mentioned a new project he was working on. I found the plot very intriguing,” said Lee Jin Wook. He continued, “It’s about a 600-year-old man and why he has been living such a long time. Reincarnation is a recurring theme in the story, and the drama touches upon serious but uncommon subject matters. Not many series nowadays talk about human nature, and I was drawn by the fact it did.”
Kwon Na Ra commented, “We recently watched the first episode together. The cinematography and the use of colors were stunning, and you’ll be able to see all four seasons in the drama. We’re about 90% done with filming but there are a lot of important scenes at the end. Stay tuned for twists and turns that you’ll never see coming.”
Bulgasal will be globally available on Netflix.
