The highly-anticipated movie ‘High Five‘ has finished its filming on November 7th.
High Five is about five people who accidentally acquire superpowers and face off against those who covet their superpowers. Scandal Makers and Sunny director Kang Hyeong Cheol had penned the script and helmed the production, getting ready to greet the audience with a novel and jolly story.
Racket Boys actress Lee Jae In plays Taekwondo-loving girl Wan Seo, while #ALIVE actor Yoo Ah In turns into Ki Dong, a jobless man. Joining them is Fight for My Way actor Ahn Jae Hong as Ji Sung, an aspiring writer. Additionally, Honest Candidate star Ra Mi Ran and Pawn actor Kim Hee Won each appear as Sun Nyeo, a yogurt seller, and Yak Sun, a factory manager.
Lee Jae In shared, “It was a delight to work with a great director and actors, and I was happy to play Wan Seo. It was an unforgettable and valuable experience. It’s a little sad that the filming has ended, but at the same time, I can’t wait to see it in a theater.”
Yoo Ah In said, “Like the process of the characters in the play becoming one team, I had a meaningful and happy time with my fellow actors. Thanks to director Kang Hyeong Cheol’s warm leadership, I got to work with deep trust. We’ve wrapped up the filming, but it feels like a new beginning has opened up.”
In addition, Ahn Jae Hong, Ra Mi Ran, and Kim Hee Won commented about the delightful chemistry shown in the filming set while thanking their co-stars.
Lastly, director Kang added, “Every movie is a challenge, but High Five was the biggest challenge I’ve faced since debut. I feel honored and grateful to have worked with the staff who took the challenge with me so I won’t be lonely and the actors who expressed the roles of superhumans with their superhuman-like acting prowess.”
