After watching a movie, di Bonaventura said, “Spiritwalker is one of the most innovative and unexpected works I’ve seen in recent years, and it’s a unique and exciting action movie. I am very excited and happy to be able to produce a Hollywood remake of this original work.” Di Bonaventura is an American film producer best known for producing the G.I. Joe and Transformers film series.

K-MOVIE Entertainment, the overseas sales company for Spiritwalker, commented, “The concept of changing bodies every 12 hours and the fact that ‘The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil’ and ‘The Outlaws’ crew produced it were enough for major producers from the States, Europe, CHina, South America, and India to ask about overseas sales. Among them, Lorenzo di Bonaventura showed the fastest and most active move to remake the movie as soon as he saw it, even having a video meeting while filming the new ‘Transformers’ movie in Peru.”

Spiritwalker is a fantasy action film about a man who loses his memory and subsequently wakes up in a new body every twelve hours. Earlier, the movie was officially invited to numerous film festivals, including the 53rd Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, the 20th New York Asian Film Festival, and the 35th German Fantasy Film Festival.

Samuel Jamier, the executive director of NYAFF, praised the work, saying, “Spiritwalker shows a perfect blend of action and drama. The action blends well into the story and shows its own unique grammar within the genre. It is truly extraordinary and innovative.”

Meanwhile, Spiritwalker will be released in Korea on November 24th.
