Taeyeon spoke out in response to reports that she was a victim of a real estate fraud.
On the 28th, Taeyeon posted a statement on her IG stories. She wrote, “Please refrain from making guesses and assumptions about the situation. I was told of the damage unilaterally, and I am currently waiting for the matter to play out.”
She also mentioned, “I’ve lived away from my family since I was a child, so my dream was to find a home for my family that was closer to where I work and live.”
The singer continued explaining, saying, “My dream was to have a special place for my family. My parents had a look at the land with their own eyes and made the decision with the same dream I had.”
She finished the post with a final thought: “I don’t really understand why I should be explaining my personal matter to the public. But I can assure you that I’m not crazy enough to do speculative buying.”
