Netflix original series Sweet Home �may return with a second season.
According to an industry insider, Sweet Home is planning a second season for this coming winter.
After the first season’s success, there were many requests for a second season, which has been finally confirmed recently. Actresses Lee Si Young and Park Gyu Young will be the only original cast members joining the second season, which will include new characters with some of the leading roles being already cast.
Sweet Home is a Netflix original series that tells the story of an outcast high school student named Cha Hyun Soo (played by Song Kang), who loses his entire family. He moves into an apartment on his own and begins to experience strange and shocking incidents.
Starring Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Lee Do Hyun, Park Kyu Young, and Ko Min Si, who all rose to fame after Sweet Home. Fresh stories, powerful actors, and horrifying creatures captivated viewers at once. During the first four weeks, Sweet Home ranked at No. 1 in Netflix Today’s Top 10 in 13 countries and ranked in the Top 10 in more than 70 countries, hitting a new record as a Netflix-produced Korean series.
