Coming up in October, JTBC’s Inspector Koo revealed a new teaser of Lee Young Ae in her unconventional character.
Inspector Koo is a comedy detective series about a rogue insurance investigator whose world is all about games and alcohol. With her background as a former cop, she digs into mysterious accidents and discovers that they were in fact serial murders.
In the first teaser video, Lee Young Ae shocked viewers with her dramatic transformation. Ditching her previous gorgeous and elegant image, she appeared with a caption that reads, “I’m not crazy,” with an unkempt look and made viewers want to learn more about her uncanny character.
Lee Young Ae steals the attention with her messy hair that seemed to have exploded in a bomb. Her horrendous hair, colorful pajama pants, wrinkled shirt, and black trench coat make us wonder about what lies ahead of her brief trip outside. She strolls around the neighborhood without caring too much about how she looks.
The production team shared, “Lee Young Ae already looked like Koo Kyung Yi from the first take. She is filled with passion especially since it’s her first drama comeback in years. She also surprised the staff and crew with her hard work on the script and I hope you will be able to see a new aspect of actress Lee Young Ae in this new series.”
