[Weekly TV Top 10] ‘The Penthouse 3’ Finished Its Year-Long Journey at No. 1

The Penthouse 3

Drama Ranking for the 2nd Week of September

SBS’s The Penthouse 3 closed its curtain after retaining the top spot for two weeks. However, the project came heavily under fire for killing off most of its main characters. tvN’s Hospital Playlist 2 ranked 2nd, renewing season 2’s all-time high popularity. In particular, Jo Jung Suk-Jeon Mi Do’s kiss scene and Kim Dae Myung-Ahn Eun Jin’s date scene became the talk of the town. tvN’s Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha remained at No.3 for the third week. Kim Seon Ho-Shin Min Ah’s chemistry and performances received favorable reviews, and many are responding well to the non-provocative, easy-to-watch plot.

SBS’s Lovers of the Red Sky fell to 4th place. Along with satisfaction over the fun story, Kim Yoo Jung’s looks are receiving positive responses. JTBC’s Lost saw a drop in popularity but still maintains its spot at No. 5. There are mixed reactions over Ryu Jun Yeol’s casting and the overall dark atmosphere of the project. tvN’s High Class started off in 6th place. Lots of viewers expressed interest in the provocative plot.

Non-Drama Ranking for the 2nd Week of September

Mnet’s Street Woman Fighter continued to top the rank. Daners’ high-quality performances in every episode are a hot topic. Seven cast members, including NOZE and Monika, put their names on the non-drama cast ranking. Mnet’s Girls Planet 999 rose to 2nd place. Since individual voting will be held instead of the existing cell voting method from the second mission, attention focuses on who will advance to the next stage. Third place went to MBC’s I Live Alone, in which Kim Yeon Koung guest appeared. MBC’s Omniscient Interfering View rose to 6th place thanks to volleyball player Kim Hee Jin, actor Gong Myung, and his brother NCT’s Doyoung revealed their daily lives.
