‘One the Woman’ Actors Talk About the Pain of Having to Act with Expensive Props

Lee Hanee, Lee Sang Yoon, and Jin Seo Yeon shared various stories about their upcoming drama, One the Woman.

On Friday, the three actors appeared on the SBS radio Cultwo Show.

When asked if they feel any pressure about being the follow-up of The Penthouse, Lee Hanee answered, “The two works are very different. And being the follow-up of a popular drama is something to be grateful for.” Jin So Yeon responded, “Before filming, the popularity of ‘The Penthouse’ acted as a pressure. But when I heard Ha Nee’s roar, I thought it’s over.”

Then the actors talked about the “pain” of having to act with expensive props.

Lee Hanee said, “Yesterday, I had to film an action scene while holding a luxury bag worth about $4,245 to $5,100. But the role I played isn’t someone who’ll gently put it down. So we (actors and staff) discussed what to do with it. So in the end, she just said, ‘let’s just say she had put it down.’”

Lee Sang Yoon also shared his story. “We filmed an action scene together yesterday. And I had a watch on. They told me they had brought the cheapest one, but it was still about $8,500,” he shared, surprising everyone.

Then Lee Hanee added, “That explains it. He was getting stomped on (for the scene), but he kept covering his left hand. He’s supposed to be from a chaebol family. That’s so out of character,” giving a big laugh.

Meanwhile, One the Woman will premiere later tonight at 10 PM KST.
