CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa is in talks to lead the new drama, It’s You, Out of the Blue (literal title).
According to SPOTVNEWS, Jung Yong Hwa was cast as the male lead of It’s You, Out of the Blue. To which FNC Entertainment responded, “He was offered the role, but nothing has been confirmed.”
It’s You, Out of the Blue is a romance series that depicts an unprecedented romance that begins “out of the blue.” The story begins when a top actor, dubbed “a master of romance,” meets a mysterious woman who thinks of herself as a female lead in a drama.
Earlier today, a media outlet reported that the series is based on the webtoon entitled “Out of the Blue.” But it’s an original drama written by Two Cops writer Byun Sang Soon.
If he joins the series, Jung Yong Hwa will play Un Tae Bong. He’s a top actor who has it all, from looks and acting prowess to humility. But once he meets a girl who thinks of herself as a female lead in a drama, his “fatal flaw” surfaces. Earlier this year, Jung Yong Hwa made a triumphant comeback as an actor with KBS’s Sell Your Haunted House.
Meanwhile, It’s You, Out of the Blue is currently working on its cast lineup. The programming is still under discussion.
