Coupang Play original comedy show SNL Korea has confirmed Jessi as the guest of its Chuseok special episode.
Jessi is an all-round entertainer who is active in the music scene and in various variety shows. Today, she was cast as the guest of episode 3, which will air as a Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) special on the 18th. Since the singer is receiving great love for her outspoken charm, her “bolder” humor on SNL Korea will create greater synergy.
In particular, Jessi had already appeared on the show in season 6 in 2015 and showed impressive performance. Hence, her appearance in the newly coming season is gaining expectations. Jessi commented, “It’s an honor to appear on the show. I will prepare a lot so you can have a fun time on Chuseok.”
Meanwhile, the guest for the following episode was confirmed to be actor Jo Jung Suk, amplifying expectations every week with a stellar guest lineup.
SNL Korea, the Korean version of NBC’s long-running comedy program Saturday Night Live, wrapped up its production in 2017 with season 9. However, SNL Korea was revived as Coupang Play’s first original comedy show.
As always, Shin Dong Yup will return as the main host once again. And joining him are Ahn Young Mi, Jung Sang Hoon, Kim Min Kyo, Kwon Hyeok Soo, YouTuber Kim Min Soo, Red Velvet’s Wendy, Mr. Queen actress Cha Jung Hwa, Kim Sang Hyeop, Joo Hyung Young, Lee So Jin, and more.
SNL Korea will be released every Saturday at 10 PM only through Coupang Play.
