Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha continues its strong upward streak in viewership ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 6th episode, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha scored an average nationwide rating of 10.2 percent and a peak of 11.1% percent.

In the latest episode, Hye Jin (played by Shin Min Ah) and Doo Sik (Kim Seon Ho)’s relationship began to cool off. Hye Jin drew the line and said, “I don’t make friends with anyone. I don’t want to be at the center of gossips and rumors. So, please keep me out of the loop.” After listening to Hye Jin, Doo Sik handed her an umbrella and walked away.

In the meantime, Gongjin town was celebrating the Lighthouse Song Festival. Joo Ri made an entry to one of the games in the festival, dreaming of winning the prize money so that she could get her braces done. However, she hurts her ankle in the middle of the game, and Doo Sik asks Hye Jin for help when he finds it out. Meanwhile, Joo Ri goes up to the stage by herself, not knowing what to do. Soon, Hye Jin appears on the stage with Doo Sik and begins to dance for her.

After the festival, Hye Jin and Doo Sik exchange glances and smile at each other. Right at the moment, the firework goes up in the air.

However, not long after the peaceful moment began, Doo Shik falls toward the sea, bumped by someone passing. Luckily, Seong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi) and Hye Jin snatch his arm immediately. What stories will they face ahead?
