Kris Wu, a former member of EXO, has been embroiled in sexual assault allegations.
On July 18th, an article about Kris Wu was posted on Weibo. According to the article, Kris Wu used late-night interviews for an audition and mini-fan meetings as an excuse to lure out and even raped underage girls after getting them drunk. Especially, the part where it said that he paid a girl 500,000 yuan (about $77,170) doubled the shock.
Victim A, who exposed this for the first time, shared, “I wanted to leave after the first time we had a physical relationship, but Kris’s manager threatened me. He has never carried out the support that he promised to the girls.” She even added that about 30 girls became his target, and 7 of them are minors. “I pray that I will be his last victim, and I will fight till the end,” she continued.
In response, Kris took his Weibo account to state that he’ll take legal actions against the malicious rumors. “I didn’t respond because I didn’t want to file a lawsuit. But just because I stay silent, that doesn’t mean that I’ll tolerate the people that spread rumors.”
He continued, “I can’t stand it any longer. I only met her once at a gathering with friends on December 5th, 2020. She didn’t drink, and none of what she claims happened. I have never committed a crime using drugs, so all my fans and rest assured. If what I’m saying is false, I will take legal responsibility.”
Meanwhile, Kris is a Chinese-Canadian actor and singer. He debuted in 2012 as a member of EXO, but he filed a lawsuit against the agency after two years to terminate his contract.
