My Man is Cupid is a romance series about a fairy who falls in love after being shot by his arrow and a woman who lost her soulmate in such situation.
Jang Dong Yoon will play the fairy, Chun Sang Hyuk. He has been the owner of a high-end franchise restaurant in Seoul, Sarangbang, for a long time. Prior to this, he had worked as a detective in the Jong Ro police station and gone missing. He is an expert at curving all the girls who hit on him and a troubled fairy who burnt his own wings.
Jang Dong Yoon has played historical rom-com, The Tale of Nokdu, before, but it is his first time starring in a modern romantic comedy series. He was reportedly attracted to the subject matter of ‘male fairy.’
