WJSN’s Bona Joins Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk in the New tvN Romance Drama

WJSN’s Bona will take the lead role in the new tvN series Twenty-Five Twenty-One (literal title).

According to The Daily Sports, Bona has recently joined the upcoming tvN drama Twenty-Five Twenty-One as a leading actress.

Twenty-Five Twenty-One takes place from 1990 to 2021. In 1998, in a world that seems on the brink of disaster, a 22-year-old and an 18-year-old had met for the first time. However, they ended up hurting each other at the ages of 23 and 19. Then, at 24 and 20, they learn to trust each other. Finally, they start to fall in love at ages 25 and 21.

Bona will play Go Yoo Rim, a Taeyang High School fencing club member who grew up to be a part of the national team. She has a cold personality, but she has an undying passion for fencing. Her rival is Na Hee Do, played by Kim Tae Ri. The media made Go and Na the rivals of the century, and in fact, they’ve been the real mortal enemies for many years. In the series, both of them are after Olympic gold medal.

Earlier, Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk were cast to take the lead roles. Search: WWW writer Kwon Do Eun pens the script, while Mr. Sunshine and The King: Eternal Monarch co-director Jung Ji Hyun helms the production. Twenty-Five Twenty-One was programmed as the new tvN series and will premiere this winter.
