The full cast has been set for Seoul Vibe, which will screen on Netflix.
On Friday, Seoul Vibe unveiled its full cast, including Yoo Ah In, Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Kyu Hyung, Park Ju Hyun, Ong Seong Wu, Kim Sung Kyun, and Moon So Ri.
Seoul Vibe is an action blockbuster set against the backdrop of the opening ceremony of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. It depicts the thrilling car chase and the slush fund robbery of on-call criminal getaway drivers in Sanggye-dong.
Yoo Ah In will be leading the Sanggye-dong crew as “the best drifter” Dong Wook. Go Kyung Pyo will star as DJ Woo Sam, the most emotional member of the Sanggye-dong crew. And, Lee Kyu Hyung plays Bok Nam, a man who knows every shortcut in Seoul. Moreover, Park Ju Hyun plays Dong Wook’s younger sister Yoon Hee, the president of the largest bike club in Seoul.
Ong Seoung Wu will be Joon Ki, who Dong Wook cherishes like his own brother. He will also be the “MacGyver” of the crew. And, Kim Sung Kyun will become director Lee, the key figure in transporting the slush fund. Furthermore, Jung Woong In will be the chief prosecutor who plays a key role in the Samgyedong crew’s scheme. Lastly, Moon So Ri will be Chairman Kang, a notorious loan shark who pulls strings behind the curtain.
Seoul Vibe is directed by The King’s Case Note director Moon Hyung Sung. The movie will captivate the viewers by capturing the lively vibe of Seoul in 1988 waiting for the Olympics. In addition, the old-school rhythmic hip-hop soundtrack and epic car action will further please our eyes and ears.
