Seventeen notched the “Quadruple Million Seller” title with their latest album, Your Choice.
On June 18th, Seventeen released their 8th mini-album, Your Choice. The album quickly surpassed 1.14 album sales within four days of the release (according to Hanteo Chart), and the group has achieved such a feat in the shortest period of time.
This figure is much higher than the 1.09 million copies set by their 7th mini-album Heng:garæ, proving Sevteen’s global popularity. On top of that, Your Choice ranked first on the Japanese Oricon Chart, Daily Album Ranking (as of June 20th). Thus, seventeen has once again proved themselves to be one of the best Asian groups with their record-breaking streak.
Previously selling over a million copies of Heng:garæ, Semicolon, and An Ode., the group earned the title “quadruple million sellers” with Your Choice.
Seventeen also stood out on the music charts. With the title song “Ready to Love,” the group topped major Korean music sites such as Genie, Melon, and Bugs. But it also topped the real-time and daily charts on Line Music, Japan’s largest music site.
