Netflix unveiled the first teaser poster for Kingdom: Ashin of The North.
Kingdom: Ashin of The North is a special episode of the Kingdom series. It will tell the origin story of the resurrection plant, which has brought an immense tragedy to Joseon and Ashin, who everyone has abandoned.
In Kingdom: Ashin of The North, Kim Si Ah will be playing the young Ashin, and Jun Ji Hyun will be playing the grown-up Ashin. And together, they will unravel Ashin’s mysterious background, which left viewers with many questions during the previous season.
In a palace full of coups and living deaths, Park Byung Eun will play Min Chi Rok, the Head of the Royal Commandery who had helped the crown prince Lee Chang, and meet Ashin in the cold north.
Screenwriter Kim Eun Hee and director Kim Sung Hoon, who led the previous seasons, will be reuniting in this special episode.
Kingdom: Ashin of The North will premiere on July 23rd.
