[Weekly TV Top 10] tvN Has Taken Over the Small Screen

  • Drama Ranking for the Fourth Week of May

tvN’s Doom at Your Service stayed on the No. 1 spot for three weeks in a row. The ending scene with Seo In Guk and Park Bo Young kissing on the 6th episode drew much attention, scoring high ratings. tvN’s new series, My Roommate Is A Gumiho came in second place. There was a negative reaction to the fact that it was funded with Chinese capital. tvN’s Mine ranked third for the second consecutive week. There was strong public criticism against the post which Kim Jung Hwa’s husband uploaded on his personal social media account.

KBS’ Youth of May ranked fourth with a steady rise in viewership. The Penthouse 3, which released behind-the-scene and teaser videos, ranked fifth. SBS’ Taxi Driver ended on a good note landing on the sixth. There have been many disappointments regarding the development of the story since the writer’s replacement. However, there has been a flurry of requests for the second season with its satisfacting finale.

SBS’s Unanswered Questions, which dealt with the death of a missing university student in the Han River, gained high attention online and topped the list. The conclusion of the police, which stated that the case could not be identified as a murder case, has become a massive controversy since its broadcast. Mnet Kingdom: Legendary War ranked second with a huge increase in popularity compared to the previous week.

The new song for the contest on the final live stage was released on music streaming services, drawing huge attention. MBC’s Hangout With Yoo received positive responses, saying, “Yoo Jae Seok and Jung Joon Ha still have good chemistry from Infinite Challenge” and, “Infinite Challenge is the best.” MBC’s I Live Alone came in fifth. Nam Yoon Soo’s daily life had great reviews like, “I could feel the original mood of the show.” And regarding SHINee Key, they commented, “Key had a very friendly and nice personality.”
