Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won’s new TV series One Ordinary Day (previously known as That Night) will be exclusively available on Coupang Play. And along with the news, the production team confirmed the final cast list.
Coupang Play’s first original content, One Ordinary Day, is the new 8-part crime series, set to premiere in November. It delves into the criminal justice system from a popular perspective through the intense story of two men surrounding the murder of a woman. Earlier, the project made headlines when Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won were cast as the main actors.
Today, Lee Seol, Yang Kyung Won, Kim Shin Rok, and Kim Hong Pa officially joined the cast lineup.
When the Devil Calls Your Name actress Lee Seol plays rookie lawyer Seo Soo Jin. In addition, Vincenzo actor Yang Kyung Won take on the role of Park Doo Sik, a gangster who got imprisoned on purpose to prove his loyalty to his boss.
Beyond Evil actress Kim Shin Rok turns into elite prosecutor Ahn Tae Hee. She has never lost a case, but she always is sidelined from promotion to chief prosecutor. Kim Hong Pa stars as veteran detective Park Sang Bum. Right before his retirement, he faces an unexpected situation while investigating Kim Hyun Soo’s case.
The production team shared, “Lee Seol, Yang Kyung Won, Kim Shin Rok, and Kim Hong Pa are actors who exude extraordinary presence. Please look forward to their passionate performance as they completely disappear into their characters.”
One Ordinary Day will be available on Coupang Play in November.
