SF9 got their first No.1 spot in Kingdom with a legendary stage.
In the recent episode of Mnet’s Kingdom: Legendary War (hereinafter referred to as Kingdom), part 2 of round 3 performances came to an end. On this day, SF9 selected Taemin’s “MOVE” and perfectly pulled off a sensuous performance.
Even though SF9 has already shown a sexy concept in the past round, the group took “sexiness” to another level with “MOVE.” Starting with Chai’s fascinating solo part, members showed flawless group dance with Taeyang in the center. Soon, Hwiyoung, Youngbin, and Zu Ho’s distinctive rap completed the performance.
Other Kingdom teams poured out praises for SF9’s performance. iKON praised Chani’s intro, while THE BOYZ expressed their love for the artistic portrayal that only SF9 can do. BTOB also flattered the group, saying, “They needed passion and courage for that, and they have certainly broken through their limits.”
Though SF9 started at a rather low place, they became a dark horse by showing improvement with every stage on Kingdom. Before the show started, SF9 expressed their ambition to be recognized as a “skilled K-pop group” since they are mostly noted for their looks and acting careers. Expectations are already high on what this impressive team will show in the final round.
