Han So Hee and Song Kang are on a roll with their new series Nevertheless.

Recently, the Nevertheless production team unveiled the still photos of Han So Hee and Song Kang. And the two actors’ perfect looks, as if they’ve popped out of the comics, catch the eyes.

Nevertheless is about a realistic romance between a woman named Yoo Na Bi, who doesn’t believe in love but still wants to date, and a man named Park Jae Eon, who thinks dating is a waste of time but still wants to flirt. It’s an adaptation of the popular Naver Webtoon of the same title.

Yoo Na Bi (Han So Hee) is a strong-minded dreamer, but deep inside, she has a scar and trauma that no one can know about. “The original webtoon is one of my favorites, so Yoo Na Bi is one of the roles that I really wanted to play. I’m thrilled to be a part of this project,” Han So Hee shared. “Yoo Na Bi is a very realistic person. And like the title, her charm is that she shows emotions that everyone knows but hides.”

The actor’s sweet smile stands out the most in Song Kang’s photos. Park Jae Eon seems like a naive, romantic guy on the outside. But despite his cheerful aura, he is actually a cold person who never lets anyone cross the line that he drew.

“This is different from all the other youth romance series that I’ve seen. I was attracted to it, and I knew that I could show a whole new side of me,” said the actor. “It’s a sincere drama. And because of that, it will allow you a new kind of excitement.”

Nevertheless is the new JTBC’s 10-part series, and one episode will be released every week. The premiere episode airs on June 19th at 11 PM KST.
