Sweet & Sour is a show about realistic romance that one invests oneself into, knowing it will turn bitter in the end.
The revealed stills feature the three people in love that constantly change. Jang Hyuk and Da Eun were madly in love with each other. But they become less and less intimate after Jang Hyuk’s sent to work at a major corporation. At the beginning of his transfer, he goes to see Da Eun every day although he’s got a long commute. But he gets more and more tired due to constantly working overtime. Da Eun, who works on shifts, gets increasingly angry toward Jang Hyuk who gets more and more neglectful of her.
Meanwhile, Jang Hyuk gets a chance to work on a big project at work. He and his coworker Bo Young, who’s a temporary contract-based worker like he is, get very competitive with each other. But eventually, they work together in harmony and become close. Jang Hyuk, who’s grown sick of his relationship with Da Eun, becomes more and more attracted to fiery Bo Young.
Sweet & Sour, directed by Cheer Up, Mr. Lee director Lee Kye Byuk, and starring Jang Ki Yong, Chae Soo Bin, and Jung Soo Jung, will premiere on Friday, June 4th.
