Lee Do Hyun will be making a special performance this year at Baeksang Art Awards.

According to Yuehua Entertainment, Lee Do Hyun will “join singer Choi Baek Ho and present a special stage that all generations can connect to at the 57th Baeksang Art Awards.”

Despite their 45 years of age difference, Lee Do Hyun and Choi Baek Ho will complete the stage under the concept of “to you who are overcoming the cold winter.” It intends to comfort the youth who now face reality as an adult who had already gone through difficult times.

In the past two years, actors Ryu Jun Yeol and Park Bo Gum performed the special stages. This signature event of the Baeksang Art Awards has greatly impacted the dignity and class of the ceremony. As you can see from that, being chosen as the special performer for the event holds special meaning.

In addition to being selected as the special performer, Lee Do Hyun was also nominated for Best New Actor Award (TV category) for his shining performance in 18 Again. He will be competing with Na In Woo, Song Kang, Nam Yoon Soo, and Kim Young Dae for the trophy.

Meanwhile, the 57th Baeksang Art Awards will be broadcast live on JTBC from 9 PM KST today (May 13th). The event will be held without an audience to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
