Gong Yoo & Park Bo Gum’s Film ‘Seobok’ Pre-Sold to 56 Countries

Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum’s upcoming bromance film Seobok was pre-sold to 56 countries worldwide. Along with the news, the overseas countries are finalizing the release dates one by one.

Seobok made headlines as soon as Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gun were cast as lead roles. And with global fans’ keen attention, the movie was pre-sold in 56 countries despite the ongoing COVID-era. Germany, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and more are included in the lineup. Of all these 56 countries, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Mongolia will meet Seobok on April 15th. Japan and Germany are also preparing for release.

An official from CJ ENM explained, “I believe that top global stars Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum’s meeting, the topic of human clones, and the movie’s unique vibe captivated overseas buyers.”

Seobok tells the story of former agent Ki Heon, who takes his last order to protect mutated human clone Seo Bok, who holds the secret of eternal life. As they set off on their journey, they face dangerous situations by several forces try to acquire Seo Bok for their plan. Architecture 101 director Lee Yong Joo grabbed the megaphone.

Meanwhile, Seobok will have its openings in theaters (Korea) and TVING on the 15th.
