The rising icon of fourth-generation idols, ENHYPEN, is returning on the 26th.
The group raised expectations for their new album BORDER: CARNIVAL by revealing the intro lyric video on their official SNS channels at midnight of the 5th. ENHYPEN uploaded an aesthetically pleasing video for the first track in the album, “Intro: The Invitation.”
The unveiled video starts as the sealed invitation opens. For instance, with a boy invited to the new world, the castle and the masquerade’s scenes flashes across. ENHYPEN enters a massive tower to find the dazzling interior filled with vibrant colors, fireworks, lasers, and patterns.
With the lyrics “feel like I’m in paradise” over the psychedelic sounds, the group illustrates their experience in the new universe. A voice, narrating in English, murmurs, “Purchasing pleasures in selling hours of dross, here in the land of rebel pow’rs gloriously decorated. An invitation calls to us from the carnival of the dazzling night, so we beat on the door of this flipped world brought to here by fate. Whether the harvest feast of light or a festival of blood, time harmonizes, laughs, and screams. Death once dead, there’s no dying then, so we gladly swallow time like it’s our last breath.”
The second mini-album, BORDER: CARNIVAL, will officially come up on the 26th. Pre-orders for the album will start at 11 AM KST on the 5th. As a sequel to their debut album BORDER: DAY ONE, the new album is anticipated by fans worldwide.
