As one of the promising groups in 2021, C9 Rookies (tentatively entitled) confirmed their official name and dropped their upcoming debut.
C9 Entertainment announced, “The new boy group’s name, which we have waited for two years to announce, is EPEX.” EPEX holds the meaning of “The gathering of eight youths reaches eight different zeniths.”
Indicating their debut, EPEX also released a group logo and a leader film on their official SNS account at midnight on the 1st.
The group is fully prepared with excellent skills, looks, artistic sense, and foreign language skills. Likewise after Younha, Lee Seok Hoon, and CIX, C9 has put forward an ambitious and talented star of the next generation’s K-pop.
Keum Dong Hyun, who won an eighth-place on Mnet’s Produce X 101, will also be joining the team. The group certainly gained fans’ attention worldwide as they revealed eight members, including him, Baekseung, A-Min, MU, Yewang, Jeff, Wish, and Ayden.
