K-pop boy group TOO changed its name to TO1.

“TO1 will be reborn as a new group,” announced Stone Music Entertainment. “Please look forward to greeting their new name and the refreshing career.”

The new name TO1 stands for “TOgether as 1”, “we exist as one.” The reborn group will showcase each member’s latent individuality and become one as a group.

TO1 also includes the meaning of “We’ll be with our fans forever (0 and 1 in Korean).” With the group’s new name, the official fandom’s name will also be changed to “TOgether” from “TOOgether.”

TO1 showed their first official performance on the last day of “KCON: TACT3”, held on the 28th. On this day, the members opened the stage with their second mini-album title track, “Count 1, 2.” Later in the event, they announced the new group name and the title/logo video.

In 2019, TO1 was created through Mnet’s TO BE WORLD KLASS. They signed an exclusive contract with CJ ENM and released two albums last year.

However, in January, a conflict arose between n.CH Entertainment and CJ ENM over TOO’s management. According to n.CH, they were initially part of the TOO project and were supposed to co-manage TOO for seven years. But CJ ENM abruptly asked n.CH to step down. In response, CJ ENM shared that they only “failed to reach an agreement.”

TO1 will continue their new chapter with “KCON: TACT.”
