Lee Yu Bi will be joining the upcoming drama Yumi’s Cells.
According to a media outlet, Lee Yu Bi will appear as Ruby in Yumi’s Cells. Ruby is Yumi’s colleague. In the beginning, she misunderstands Yumi as her rival in love. However, the two become best friends and supporters of each other’s love life. Ruby is haughty and coy, but she charms everyone with an irresistible charm.
Yumi’s Cells is based on the popular webtoon of the same name. Like the webtoon, the drama will revolve around an ordinary office worker named Yumi. But the story will be unfolded from her brain cells’ point of view.
Kim Go Eun officially joined the project as Yumi. Ahn Bo Hyun is currently reviewing his appearance as Goo Woong.
Yumi’s Cells will premiere in the second half of the year. The script is written by Memories of the Alhambra screenwriter Song Jae Jung, Find Me in Your Memory screenwriter Kim Yoon Joo and rookie writer Kim Kyung Ran. Familiar Wife, Shopping King Louie, and The King’s Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang director Lee Sang Yeob will helm the production.
