Lee Joo Young has been cast to play a bartender at the bar where Chang Seok frequents and unfolds a unique story as a mysterious figure who buys memories from customers. Yoon Hye Ri appears as an editor who helps Chang Seok publish his novel and tells stories based on her memories.
Particularly, IU (Lee Ji Eun), who worked with director Kim in Netflix series Persona, made her special appearance as a woman whom Chang Seok met in a coffee shop. As a woman who has lost time, IU will mark the beginning of Shades Of The Heart.
Shades Of The Heart has been listed in the Jeonju Cinema Project selection at the 20th Jeonju International Film Festival.
Director Kim shared, “It’s about a person taking a step forward in his life after passing through various stories. It tells the story of life, and I made a bold attempt to capture the state where something is present or maybe not.
