Monday Kiz and Choi Hyun Jun will be releasing their new single “I don’t want to lie about loving you” (literal title) on the 21st of February through music platforms.

“I don’t want to lie about loving you” talks about a man’s honest feelings as he goes through a breakup. With sentimental melodies, the song may remind listeners of the ballad version of “NA2ZEN”, which topped music programs back in 2007.

During the mid-2000s, the golden age of K-ballads, Monday Kiz and V.O.S. received great love for their unique musicality embodied in the medium-tempo ballad genre. Among them, Monday Kiz and Choi Hyun Jun showed off their best teamwork as they collaborated several times. 14 years after “NA2ZEN”, the duo is to once again demonstrate their emotional vocals through “I don’t want to lie about loving you.”

The two especially revealed how happy they were in the photos of the photoshoot set which were uploaded to official SNS accounts. Music fans also expressed high expectations as they reacted with “this collaboration is insane,” and “I’m looking forward to the release date of the new song.”

The song is expected to be an emotional ballad that gives a warm sense of comfort and sympathy to listeners. As hit song makers including KRAZY PARK and Noeul had participated in the single, it is likely to be a perfected song that carries messages of encouragement.
