Will Girls’ Generation be back together as a complete group for the first time in four years? The news of their awaited reunion has been drawing keen attention.

On the 19th, SM Entertainment officially informed OSEN that “nothing has been confirmed,” regarding the news on their preparation for their complete comeback with eight members.

After debuting in 2007, Girls’ Generation has not been releasing an album with all their members since the sixth full-length album Holiday Night. The team has previously been actively performing their double title songs “Holiday,” and “All Night” back in 2017.

Above all, the toughest problem is that the eight members do not share the same agency. While Taeyeon, Sunny, Hyeoyeon, Yuri, and Yoona are under SM Entertainment, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun are not. Hence, it really is not easy for those eight to get together.

Despite such conditions, Girls’ Generation members have maintained close relationships as they never forget to mention each other here and there. It has also been told that the members are continuing to discuss their album.

Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Taeyeon have been steadily releasing their solo albums as singers until recently, and have remained active as artists. All eight members of Girls’ Generation have continued to stay active in their respective fields, including acting, singing, and appearing on entertainment programs. As they remain active in their own ways, many are still looking forward to their full-fledged comeback activities.

Attention is focused on whether Girls’ Generation will overcome the realistic difficulties and be able to announce the return of the legendary group once more.
