The first original soundtrack of Sisyphus: The Myth has been unveiled.
JTBC’s 10th-anniversary special drama Sisyphus: The Myth (directed by Jin Hyuk, written by Lee Je In and Jeon Chan Ho) has kicked off with its first episode on the 17th of February. The series also revealed its first OST “Stay (tempus) (Prod. GroovyRoom)” at 6 p.m. KST of the same day. The song is sung by artist GSoul.
“Stay (tempus)” sings about the desperation of wanting someone to stay with them till the end of the world, and features psychedelic sounds of a synthesizer. The dreamy and sorrowful feeling of the song was amplified with the soulful and dark voice of GSoul over the retro synthwave beats.
This song was specially composed and produced by GroovyRoom, who proved their versatility on Mnet’s Hip-Hop survival show Show Me The Money 9. As the producing duo established themselves as hit-makers with tracks such as “VVS,” “Achoo,” and “The Roots,” they once again demonstrated the best synergy, this time with GSoul.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s new fantasy series Sisyphus: The Myth is about a genius engineer who tries to uncover the identity of those who hide among us and a savior who has gone back a long and dangerous way for him.
