“Solo queen” Sunmi will return to the K-pop scene with a new song this month.
On February 10, Sunmi’s agency ABYSS Company released the “Happy SUNMI 14th Anniversary” poster and comeback teaser, raising enthusiastic responses from global K-pop fans.
The 14th-anniversary celebration poster catches the eye with Sunmi’s dazzling visuals in a four-cut photo, and Sunmi’s handwritten letter for her fans leave a beautiful afterglow. The singer wrote, “Because you’ve always supported me for 14 years, I became the Sunmi now. As always, thank you for always being my reason. Let’s love a lot this year, too, Miya-ne! My Miya-ne & Wonderful Sunmi.”
Sunmi then confirmed her comeback through a comeback teaser that announces the comeback date. With the clear contrast between red and black colors, the copy “2021.02.23.6PM KST” raises expectations.
