The seven-member boy band KINGDOM has announced that they will shake up the K-Pop scene with its ultimate teaser video.
KINGDOM (members include Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Jahan, and Chiwoo) released a teaser video ahead of their music video of the title track “Excalibur.” The song is from their first mini-album History of Kingdom: Part 1 Arthur.
The released video begins as the group’s official logo appears, reminding viewers of the opening of a blockbuster film. As the volcano exploded, it heralded a new universe which starts with Arthur with the Excalibur. Members of KINGDOM appeared fiercely as they signaled the reincarnation of the king from the myth.
The spectacular visuals and the grand scale especially reminded people of an adventurous game and/or movie. The video highlighted the universe composed of seven kings, each of whom has different abilities, gathered to mark the beginning of a kingdom and a new alternate universe. Expectations are mounting for KINGDOM, as they are to demonstrate a unique and thorough universe.
KINGDOM will release their first mini-album History of Kingdom: Part 1 Arthur on the 18th of this month. The album marks the first milestone of the epic, beginning with King Arthur’s story.
The title song “Excalibur” is a dance song with strong synthesized sounds and groovy rhythm based on future bass. The potential for the group’s infinite growth will be demonstrated in the song as the chosen ones endure the weight of their crowns.
KINGDOM’s first album History of Kingdom: Part 1 Arthur will be available on various music streaming platforms from 6 p.m. KST on the 18th of February.
