Blackpink recorded the third-best rise in Rolling Stone’s Top 200 Albums chart.
On Feb 9, Rolling Stone announced its weekly Top 200 Albums chart. And of them, Blackpink’s first full-album The Album landed at No.32. Compared to last week’s ranking, which was No. 153, it’s up 121 spots.
Rolling Stone also noted this remarkable achievement, tweeting, “Blackpink’s THE ALBUM rises 153 spots from to Number 32 after their livestream concert THE SHOW. This marks the third biggest week to week increase in the RS 200 history.”
The Album was also the only K-pop girl group’s album to be listed on the Rolling Stone annual album chart in 2020.
Meanwhile, Blackpink held their first livestream concert “The Show” on Jan 31.
