Lee Joon is positively reviewing the offer he received to join the new drama The Immortal (literal title).
Regarding his appearance in The Immortal, the actor’s agency PrainTPC told Newsen on Feb 3, “He was offered a role and is positively reviewing it.”
The Immortal is a fantasy drama about a woman who remembers her past life and repeats the cycle of life and death for 600 years, and a man who became an immortal monster the past 600 years. It is expected to be a magnificent yet blood-covered revenge play about the monster who has the heart of a human but has to drink blood for living, who cannot be killed or die.
If he confirms his appearance, Lee Joon will take on the role of Ok Eul Tae. As the immortal monster, he has lived hundreds of years. He enjoys manipulating people’s minds and always exudes his glamorous yet decadent appearance and charisma that overwhelms people. He has built up huge wealth and has controlled politicians, businessmen and media from behind the curtain. He could have been a powerful man who masterminds the entire country, but the memory of his failure in the past stops him from going further than a small city.
Previously, Lee Jin Wook confirmed his appearance in the drama, raising expectations for the two trusted actors’ meeting.
Meanwhile, The Immortal is directed by Entourage director Jang Young Woo and penned by screenwriters Seo ae Son and Kwon So Ra.
