Singer and actress Kim Seol Hyun became the first ambassador for the Korean Liver Cancer Association.
Kim Seol Hyun attended the appointing ceremony for the Korean Liver Cancer Association’s ambassador on January 31st and received a letter of appointment along with a plaque of appointment from Park YOung Nyeon, the chairman of the association. Appointed as an honorary ambassador for public relations, Kim Seol Hyun will conduct various activities to raise public awareness for liver cancer for the next two years from January 2021.
The Korean Liver Cancer Association is a society established to provide people and patients with correct information about liver cancer and provide standardized guidelines for liver cancer diagnosis and treatment. With Kim Seol Hyun as its new public ambassador, it plans to make it easier for the public and patients to access information related to liver cancer.
At the ceremony, Kim Seol Hyun shot a YouTube video on the theme of liver cancer prevention along with liver cancer experts from the association. To be revealed in February, the video includes Kim Seol Hyun making it easy to understand by explaining exact information on liver cancer, how to prevent it, and some common sense related to it.
As the first public relations ambassador for the Korean Liver Cancer Association, Kim Seol Hyun says that she is “honored and grateful,” and that she will support everyone in preventing and treating liver cancer.
